Sunday Drive Around the Bays, Wellington - February 2009

Now we have a car, we decided to go for a drive around the bays on Sunday. The wind was a bit keen but we braved lunch outside at Scourching Bay.

Wellington Sevens Rugby, Wellington - February 2009

Once again we were in luck and managed to get some tickets to the Wellington Sevens. This is a seven a side rugby world tour that Wellingtonians really get dressed up for - all 35 thousand of them. The colour around the ground was amazing, wall to wall fancy dress. We however were up in the corporate boxes sampling beverages. I think we upset the New Zealanders as England won the tournament - oops. Very good show anyway as you can see below.
