Another Weekend Away, Martinborough, New Zealand - April 2011

Headed out on Friday night to the Martinborough batch again with Mads and Baz (they really will go back to Europe soon). After a short morning stroll we met up with Jonathan, Elizabeth and Bill for a meal at Tirohana (http://www.tirohanaestate.com) for a very pleasant while away of several hours of our Saturday. I do believe we liked the Pinot Noir 2009 'Classic'. Next we nipped to Vynfields before attempting the walk back but although we do like the place the service was sloooooow. Move then onto our favourite half way back Cambridge Road. They had just released the Pinot Noir 2009 yesterday (http://www.cambridgeroad.co.nz/our-wines-pinot-noir.html). As we were there they were hand stirring the next brew and you can see the husks were just recently discarded.
