OK, so going to the Bay of Island and need to go to the toilet, you need New Zealand's most famous bog. After that enjoyed the sights of the Bay of Islands with the Treaty House, Russell and Kerikeri.

Diving at Poor Knights, Northland, New Zealand

Up to dive the famous Poor Knights on the east of the North Island. The sea was simply the worst we have ever been out on a boat and took an hour. Luckily we had our magic ginger nuts. Other people were not so prepared and there was a vast amount of sick flowing freely. Anyway, getting off the boat as fast as we could, the diving is very good sub tropical. The visability was not too good but managed to snap some shots.

One of many NZ lighthouses, so called because the rock formation on the skyline resembles....surprise, surprise.... a castle when viewed from the sea!

One of the wilder stretches of the North Island coast, fab views, some exciting surf action and some drenched fishermen .... excellent entertainment!

Cricket Test Day 3 Black Caps Versus India, Wellington, New Zealand - April 2009

Last test of the series with India leading the series. Day 1 and 2 New Zealand get battered by India. Day 3 ....

This is the first time we have been to the Basin Reserve. Although there are seating stands, everyone sits on the banks having their beers and picnics. At the break for lunch the croud pile on and have their own games.

New Zeland got battered, although the match ended in a draw on Day 5 due to rain.

Saturday Morning 'in the life of', Khandallah, Wellington, New Zeland - April 2009

Thought we would share what we get up to on a Saturday morning (after getting rid of bed head). Since we have no DIY, gardening or other slave labour to do any more, we have had to become accustomed to relaxing.

On a Saturday morning this encomasses walking to the shops, buying supplies, freshly cut meat and then having a flat white coffee and cake. Follow us below on this exciting Saturday morning journey.
