Spirit of Freedom, Lizard Island, Great Barrier Reef, Australia (Day 1)
Flew out on a light aircraft over the Great Barrier Reef to Lizard Island to meet up with the Spirit of Freedom, Diving Liveaboard. Transferred on by tender (dingy). We had booked one of the private rooms which was on the upper deck with sea views. Couldn't through a cat in it but everything you needed for a comfortable cruise. After a ship briefing a short sail to the first set of reefs to get straight into the first 2 dives. Before coming we had updated our underwater camera and got some new dive gear so keen to get in the water.
