Nelson, New Zealand

So we spent a couple of days in Nelson (before hitting the national park)and were nicely surprised how lovely it was. Not too many photies I'm afraid we were too busy looking but we did take some at the local heritage park which aimed to recreate a typical village many years ago and was actually very well done with a modern day brewery smack in the middle which (no surprise) caught Steve's attention!

Apart from the national parks (the area has 3) it's main claim to fame would seem to be beer and the jeweler who made the Lord of the Rings 'One Ring' of which there was a replica in his shop. Now this shop caught Linda's attention but she didn't manage to get Steve to release the wallet!
